Scotland job now available.
I think our man, Stuart McCall could be do well if he got that position.
He was a coach for Scotland until he became the so called “Head Coach” for City of course.
SkyBet currently have McCall at 28/1 to be next Scotland manager.

Mark Ellis reckons we should get Stuart in has head of football and put a structure in place. Lay down foundations and build a proper youth set up.
Pretty sure Stu would prefer to be in a managerial role for now though.Jay likes this. -

Mind you, what was the name of the American kid we had over on trial, and then released? I am sure he actually went on to become pretty decent. Must have been about 8/10 years ago when we were doing that US thing...Jay likes this. -

Hulmebantam Squad PlayerP.L. 21/22 Entrant Supporter
Only if he can do it when random German non league players start to populate his squad, or when a squad is heavily depleted and the owners decide not to support him willl I believe in him.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
It all seems to have gone a bit belly up since this thread.
I was looking forward to seeing Stuart return to VP in the next couple of weeks but I'm not sure it's actually going to happen any more.
I kid you not though, he's apparently started Rory McArdle in centre midfield. -
He never had a plan B - love the guy to bits but not sure he’s a top manager. -

I was at the Scunthorpe game this afternoon, they were terrible, on a par with some of our displays earlier in the season, the supporters I spoke to/heard were split as to whether he has inherited an unbalanced squad and deserves a chance to sort it in January, or isn't up to the job and should be at risk of the sack.
I don't know enough about Scunthorpe's squad to judge, but watching him on the bench brought back memories of how he was utterly incapable of turning things around when his teams got into a rut at City, though it's potentially good news for us if he can't.
