I think like others he is carrying an injury. Doesn’t look overweight to me he normally carry’s a bit apart from when he turned up for preseason last summer.


Not a good start and he is a confidence player so he will need lots of reassurances and a banned from social media for the foreseeable.

 

I agree. We had some good passages of play and looked chaotic at times. All par for the course at this stage but we do need more bodies through the door. @Faithful Bantam stated 3. CB WB and a mobile fast striker.

My memory tells me we had one chance where Isiah Rankin was through on goal and missed that would have sealed it at 2.0. Could be wrong.

All 900 seats were sold in the covered section but once the 300 additional seats behind the goal were released, they made it all unreserved so I guess many of those who bought tickets in the original covered section decided to sit behind the goal.

 

After reflecting on the game today, we played well and should have taken the three points, but overall, a draw is a decent result against a decent side. Happy to give the starting 11 another start, but I still think we are short a LWB, ST and a backup GK to push Lewis on.

 

I like the look of Smith the fast mobile striker but we definitely need the other two positions

 

The highlights of that game was on Youtube took me near on 20 years to watch it ............ in all my years watching us away from home have I ever seen us batter a team and still come away with a defeat .......... we should have easily been 4-0 up at half time ........... they got away with it again at VP in them 180 minutes across both games they probably did well for 10 minutes the rest was a pure battering

I wouldn't be waiting for Oliver to weigh in with some goals. He only scored 3 last season, and was lucky to get that amount.

 

He scored plenty in the two seasons before at a higher level
