    Not bothering with this match.
Crap away stand , £22 ffs.
Really not getting any 'must go' vibes I will be honest.
I thought Stockport were doing work on the Railway end hence moving away supporters into the side stand?

    In my mind yes.
He's 10 and wants to go to every game.
    God I miss that desire.
Just like I was at that age

Same with my lad. Pestering me to go to Accy but with the price of those tickets I'm definitely undecided.

I think the original redevelopment plans have been put on hold (cancelled?) when they found out it was going to cost upwards of £25 million.

Luckily my lad is in Lanzarote at the moment so no chance of Accy lol.

Bought today , together with Accrington.

Ah the romance of khazi league football on a Tuesday night in Lancashire.

    Can't beat it:(

    brilliant

Same here - I wouldn't go to half of the away games if my lad didn't want to. Also gives you both a great bond by spending time together. But isn't it fantastic that our youth has such desire and passion - they are the future of the club

The things we do for our kids!

Totally agree. My daughter started to watch Sire A off her own bat. She got totally engrossed with the World Cup in 1994, and an old friend suggested l take her to City. I had stopped going by then. I thought she would last 40 minutes. No she was hooked and within four seasons we were Season Ticket holders. She went to Uni, but came back for virtually all the home games. She lives in the USA now but gets up at 8.00 am on a Saturday to watch games on I-Follow. We WhatsApp about certain points. City helps reinforce a bond between us.

Myself and daughter have had many great away days, but I'm afraid now it is just a few away games a year usually to places we haven't been.
Respect to folk who can be motivated to go to the same places every year but my days of this are gone now.

Bang on Steve I never had a son but I have a grandson and as you say the time together at football is magic, he loves it when as before the Bury game we were sat with @Rocket@Rocket Ron talking City and in the past he listened to @Bigrod@Bigrod @Offcomedun@Offcomedun @Rogered Tart@Rogered Tart @Tennesseebantam@Tennesseebantam @Allotment Bantam@Allotment Bantam and a few more reminiscing about the past.
It's not to everyone's taste I know but I shed several tears when he turned up at our house a few weeks ago with a tattoo on his arm showing two people going into the Sunwin Stand, and said grandad when your gone I'll still be taking you down to Valley Parade, all my family knew he was getting one and so did @ QCFC BANTAM I was the only one not to know, I love him to bits.

That is fantastic artwork and an absolutely beautiful ode to a soppy old duffer ;) (but the crocs need to go :D)

I believe anytime I have seen you around or on the dolly bus you have been with your grandson and long may it continue. I honestly thought my lad would have ditched his old man by now and started going home & away with his mates (I wouldn’t hold it against him if he did, it is what usually happens) but he assures me he’d never do such a thing as City games are “our time”. I almost cried when he told me that too! But now he’s just turned 18 and we have stayed over a few long haul ones (Newport, Sutton, crawley etc) and gone on the lash

Permanent memories together that we will always cherish, even if the football was dire…it is secondary
