Just been saying we are playing too slow as we work our way forward and get an effort off through Smith, so having been wrong about needing to hoof it up front he then pretends it was the result of a high press lol

He’s spot on. We are far too slow, far too safe in our passing and lacking in any sort of coherent build up play. And the defence is a problem.

Definitely not the case at all.

He sounds like a dinosaur wanting 442 hoof ball because that's what he's used to.

Some great passages of passing play actually resulting in shots on target, while Stockport attack at a more manic pace with little real control.

You’re smoking some good gear. Jones was never a hoof it type and I haven’t heard him mention anything about formations or hoofball. He wants urgency, energy, forward passing. All the things we lack. We haven’t created a thing, and our defence look vulnerable. The team doesn’t know how to play this system.
