Been seeing Stephen more and more frequently on the tele.

Reckon he'll be a good pundit in years to come.

And how the chuff do you expect League1 clubs to sign “good PL or Championship players”? If they are “good”, their clubs will want to keep them and the players themselves will want to play as high a level as possible.

Warnock needs persuading to change his mind. He's got another year left in him and last night he was as solid as any left back since Jacques. As for Guy, I wish we could afford him - played in his correct position (not RB Stuart) he makes Lee Evans look poor. Buy him, build a team around him.

 

Stephen is currently taking his coaching badges and is expected to take up media work. If we are going to persist with our development squad, who better than Warnock to work with those players? The likes of Gibson, Patrick etc would really excel with someone as professional as Warnock mentoring them.

And it helps Warnock with his badges

For the last 7 years all you've said is how rubbish we are, I think you need to get another hobby.

 

He wants better and anyone who does not go along with his standards is either easily please or not a true Bradford City fan.

Great player with a good career at the top level. He retires with my thanks as he was a give all type of player.

I thought it was a nice gesture from a good proportion of the Scunthorpe fans to applaud him off the pitch as well as City fans when he was substituted.

 

Thought he had a very good game last night. His experience clearly shows

 

TBF he was playing in an alien position in an unusual formation. No surprise hecwas ripped a new one. He wasn’t the only one

 

You know, those good PL and Champuonship players. Like Aaron McLean and Paul Anderson

 

I agree... however even in some of our greatest seasons in the last few years this guys moaned about how crap we are.. it’s tiresome and attention seeking of the highest order

 

There is an excellent interview with Stephen on I-Follow. I would love to see him given a coaching or management position. He is an articulate speaker, has played at the highest level and would be a great role model for young players.

 

Grayson made a similar comment that Stephen came in today for training and you would have thought he was an 18 year old coming in for his first ever training session rather than his last and he trained as normal very hard.

 

Just the sort of senior pro you'd wish to have at a club, leading by example.
