    I would hope so. Stephen Darby deserves our appreciation and respect.

    Great news that this is happening. I was surprised something wasn't sorted sooner, but the important thing is that it is happening, to recognise the loyal service Stephen gave the club and also raise awareness of his horrible disease.

    As an aside, organising something like this will win the current owners brownie points with the fans - just about the only thing they've done right this season.

    The original idea came from the fans but Rahic mentioned they would be in diacussions with Darby and his family to see what the club could do the same week the news broke.

    I'll be back in VP for this, not bothered at all about who the oppo is, might be cheaper and better to have an ex-City team. Why would I want to watch a Bolton team?

    Sounds like they had a good night, bet between them they could tell a few tales, went to the Shelf Bantams night when they called it Darby & Jones Night they were great company, both typical scousers.
