what are the implications of this. Does this suggest he's likely to stay here for the foreseeable future?

 

One he deems some money back for his investment?

Can’t see him getting his money back with how this seasons gone?

 

Part of me thinks he will want to get rid as soon as financially viable to do so and part of me thinks he will want to stick around and get us promoted just so he can stick two fingers up at Mr I Know Football. I would love it if that happened.

Don't think anyone on here knows him well enough to know his thoughts its all guesswork
He is not a fan of football he is an investor/business man
who has to decide whether to cut and run or to prop up,his interest with further investment in the hope of a profitable return
If he was a dyed in the wool Bantam fan I fancy it would be the latter but as he is not and saw us purely as an investment buoyed on by Mr "I know football" my thoughts are he will cut his losses quite soon

But where big money (to us) is at stake it tends to heighten the reality somewhat
I also think that if he was going to invest and try to recoup his outlay we would have done more so far this transfer window

 

He may be limited by FFP (just a thought, I don’t actually know the intricacies of the rules nor City’s current situation).

 

My understanding from what I have been told is Rupp wants to right the wrongs of Edin tenure but with the guidance of Rhodes input as he knows the club the city and how the fans react to things. It wouldn't surprise me to see a permanent signing from out of the blue this window.

Me neither but just looking at the business side of things it's a very tricky decision he will one day have to make If we had assets he could readily turn to cash then maybe that would encourage him
He's not like Mr Tordoff or Mr Lawn who have the club at heart
But we will find out sooner or later

It’s standard business practice. I beleive Mr Rupp will try and sell in the summer. Not much evidence that the squad is being bolstered against relegation as yet which I believe indicates he doesn’t want to invest anymore into the club. Risky strategy if we go down as it impacts on his original investment.
