    Meh. Rupp also issued a statement telling us that Hopkin would be backed in January. The same month we cut costs and failed to address key positions.

    This appears to be nothing more than a PR exercise to try and boost season tickets sales

    Aye probably, just seems like the same cheap words we've heard all season. We had a chance to act on the words in January and failed to, no reason to believe the summer will be any different

    In fairness if it is a PR exercise to shift season tickets, then can you blame them? As they are staying, they will undoubtedly want to shift as many season tickets as possible.

    What was the alternative? Rupp and Rhodes to stay, but go bollocks, we're spending sod all and you can put up with Josh Wright, Shay McCartan and Omari Patrick next year.

    Damned if you do and all that

    I don't blame them at all for doing it - I just don't think what they have said will have much of an impact in increasing season ticket sales, if that is their aim.
