    Just watching the above at the end of the occasion two Rolls Royces were driven up to Parliment where the Royal Crown, mace and other items were chauffeur driven back to the Tower of London I thought we were strapped for money or is it just us plebs.
    We should all tighten our belts in the present situation so why couldn't the local Pizza Hut delivery guy put them on the back of his scooter and deliver them back to the tower.

    Yet we can afford to give Ukraine BILLIONS of pounds for a conflict we have no involvement in. And we lap it up.

    Yeah. Perhaps we should have just stood back and let them waltz through Ukraine. And then Moldova. And then the three Baltic States, And then Poland. And then...and then...until Putin had once again subjugated half of Europe under Russian control, against the will of their populations.
    Those countries didn't choose to break away from the USSR and align themselves with western democracies for no reason. They did so because they wanted to be modern democratic sovereign states, free from Russian dominance. Russia could have been a part of that family too, but it chose to go the way of authoritarianism, expansionism and nostalgia for an empire that has gone and isn't coming back.
    There's plenty wrong with western capitalism. And its democracies may all be flawed to different degrees. But they're all infinitely preferably to dictatorship.

    Nah. Much too thick and dough-ey. Proper pizza has a thin crispy base. Pizza Express pizzas are much better.
