32 years watching City and ive seen some real shite leading our line - far too many too list and thats just the last 10 years!!!

The only stand outs for me in 32 years are

McCarthy, Blake, Mills, Windass, Wells and Wyke. A special mention to Hanson and Stead who scored some memorable goals.

Have I missed anyone who scored a few?

Paul Jewell probably deserves a mention.

Didn't often play as an out and out striker, but Carbone is worth a mention. What a talented player

Andy Gray deserves a mention. Did well in a dire side compared with players like Luke Cornwall and Robert Wolleaston, lol

    They weren’t standouts but you’ve got me reminiscing about my childhood at VP so I’m saying three names anyway;

    Edinho
    Robert Steiner
    Ole Bjorn Sundgot

For far too short a period, until he moved (in my opinion) too early and suffered a career ending injury - Graeme Tomlinson

I think he left in 1990, but Jimmy Quinn was up there with the best strikers at the league we were in (Championship)

Wyke? Seriously? Was ok but can’t be named in the same context as the others in your list. He downed tools like many others post Yeovil cup game and for that reason he cannot have any kind of legend status

But depressing really isn’t it? I’ve no more to add to the list and I’ve been following City for close to 30years

If we’re having Wyke I’d include Collymore for his 7 game spell until Jeffries came in and messed him and Carbone about

Personally I don't think Windass gets enough credit/recognition from some city fans as he wasn't part of a successful side , especially during that second spell.

Averaging just shy of a goal game (60 in 140) was ridiculous especially considering some of the rubbish he was playing with in that spell.

It wasn't just his goals, but is all round contribution, he carried us for a long time

He popped in a few goals and we sold at x3 his fee. He was a success imo and a stand out for me.

Add him to the cult following list with Edinho.

He was such a natural goal scorer. Couldn’t even run but always bagged. Shame we got him at wrong end of his career
