    numbers - ahead of the coming campaign.

    Twenty-three members of City’s first-team squad have been allocated numbers, with them set to be debuted when the Bantams travel to Bradford (Park Avenue) for their opening pre-season friendly next Tuesday (July 13).

    New signings Oscar Threlkeld, Liam Ridehalgh and Yann Songo’o take numbers 2, 3 and 6 respectively, with Abo Eisa filling No.7 and Alex Gilliead being handed No.11.

    Fiacre Kelleher takes No.16, with Lee Angol being given the No.19 jersey.

    Andy Cook vacates the No.29 jersey - which he wore during last season’s loan spell - to wear No.9 for 2021/22, while Ollie Crankshaw moves from No.31 to No.23.

    I am to understand, it is only the Youth teams through to U16's level where this is to be introduced at.

    Well there is not much left number wise if City are bringing in another striker.
    That is if they can manage this task.
    Has been problematic in the past.

    Squad numbers are fairly telling.

    Threlkeld number 2 suggests right back.
    No number 10. Suggests new strikers.
    Wood not given a number so not in squad.

    Said the latter numerous times but some simply wouldnt have it.

    As it stands, I'm not sure there's another option at RB!

    Just seen that the squad numbers have been announced with ROD keeping the No1 shirt. Just three gaps, 10, 12 and 20. The must mean another striker is coming in at least
