Media jerking off over how good the new stadium. Bloody well should be at a billion quid.

Looks nice but I don't agree with them being allowed to play in it this season mind you as it goes against PL rules. Its bad enough that they got to reverse fixtures at the start of the season but they now have a run in of mostly home games at a ground that can now feel like home to them which Wembley never really did

Heard something interesting being discussed about the differences between Spurs’ new stadium and Arsenal moving to the Emirates.
Arsenal left Highbury on the back of the Invinclble era and years of success, which meant the big discussion about the Emirates was can they continue this success here? Which immediately adds pressure and a negative slant on the move.
Spurs have had minimal success in the last 20-30 years so the big discussion for their move is can this help them kick on and start winning things? A very different mindset and much more positive IMO.
Just thought it was an interesting observation.Interested Bystander likes this. -

Don’t suppose we could get Bradford Council to use taxpayers money to give us a loan to buy VP lol.
Oh nearly forgot Spurs neighbours West Ham fought tooth and nail to inherit the ‘legacy’ stadium which we all paid for as taxpayers -

The Man City fans were very quiet last night, wonder if acoustically, this has been built in in the stadium design? Maybe my hearing is just shit.
Looks impressive anyway, went to old White Hart Lane once and thought that was good. Especially when jamie lawrence bundled in our equaliser in a 1-1 draw. My mate missed the goal as he’d buggered off for a slash
