Where is the swipe at Stuart? Where is any mention of him? I've read the article three times and can't find it.

 

Absolute nonsense of a post there is no criticism of Stuart whatsoever

 

You should have finished it all it doesn't mention Stuart in fact ot says the he has worked with some great people which I would hazard a guess will include Stuart.

I think your right though by any measure he's a failure. As long as you discount record crowds, increased turnover, a play off finish last season and the leagues top scorer from last season signed up of course. He's not perfect I'm sure but he's not doing too badly.

I’ve seen some desperate attempts to have a go at Sparkes over the last few seasons,but this is right up there.

 

He doesn't mention Stuart specifically but he does mention that he sees Hughes as being better in certain ways than other managers by mention him being of a higher level in his commitment to win. Thats his opinion of course, he gets to see them up close and personal. As usual with local rag journalism its hard to gauge the full context of quotes but it does come across as a dig at the others that have been under his watch.
Nothing to see here though other than the usual waffle from Sparks to the local journos, all this sort of talk looks very hollow indeed if Hughes gets us off to a bad start.

Regardless of what I think of Ryan Sparks I thought it was a good article to be fair.

 

The comment the poster made was a to draw attention to himself. He has form!

 

It was fine for the local journo’s who very rarely dish out criticism to the club. If we don’t go up this year there will be an avalanche of criticism coming the clubs way, and not just the manager either. On the whole R/S is doing a fine job behind the scenes which is crucial but we also need to see improvement on the field.
