    After Macclesfield Southend were in court but they have had their deadline extended for the 4th time. They now have to pay HMRC £493,991 by 28 October.

    I love one of the reasons given for them not paying yet

    "We have reduced the balance, to HMRC, by a third but cash flow over the past six months has been very limited and we have had the carry the club costs through this difficult Covid period, including paying off overpaid/underperforming players.“

    We shall see if they manage to clear the debt especially with very little income between now and then
