Solar Panels at VP

I believe @wetherbywhaler commented its been looked into but the structure of the stands roofs won't take the weight, I could be mistaken although apparently solar panels have become much lighter I've read.

 

Waste of time. Waste of money. We've bigger problems than worrying about this crap.

 

How is it a waste of time and money to generate our own electricity which in the long run will save us far more than the cost to have them installed? Plus any excess would generate us money by feeding it back into the grid

 

If this means we can get hot water in the Kop bogs I am all for it.

 

Might even mean we get some hot water in the bogs.

 

Smart move energy for business is very expensive and comes out of=the bottom line

 

Those lamps to help with the areas where the grass is sparse are very expensive to run, imagine getting several more of them and the expense covered by the solar panels win win it might shut up some of the moaners with regards the condition of the pitch.

 

Ha ha... The planet isn't warming up enough for that to happen.

 

Due to the cost of having them installed and the time it takes to make the investment back this would suggest that we are close to signing, or have already signed, a deal to stay at VP long term. No point in investing in them for two or three years useage

 

And who ever is pushing this have got their priorities all wrong. We're in the shite pool of league 2, we have bigger issues

 

If it saves us money then surely it is good as it frees cash up for other things,

Probably most things non football related, the club need someone above him and someone running the football side leaving him to the commercial side.

 

Get in we will have the best solar panels in league 2 deffo purchasing a season ticket now.
