I agree with them, if it was a level playing field, Villa, Forest, Derby and Leeds etc might well drop out of the top flight now and again but if minnows (comparatively) like Bournemouth, Watford and Burnley strike lucky, they can leave these big famous clubs behind. The money is manipulating the long term fan funded status quo.

Really, who'd you want to watch, Leeds v Villa in the Championship or Watford v Burnley in the PL? The famous old Championship clubs are undervalued and it's skews the PL, nobody gives a monkey's fart about half the fixtures.

Except the viewing figures don’t seem to back that up. So far this season the lowest watched PL match on Sky was watched by an average viewership of 447,900. which is around the figure of the most appealing championship games get on Sky. Most championship games get much lower viewing figures than that

It's all very skewed when you think Southampton have been shown live twice and Bournemouth and Burnley three times. Yet Leeds have been shown eleven times, with West Bromwich and Aston Villa shown eight times.

    Not really skewed as such.
Sky pay for PL games and the PL clubs benefit.
Sky pay for EFL games and EFL clubs benefit.
The issue is how the EFL distribute the £590 M they receive for the rights

I get what your saying and I know the value of a premier League game is more than a championship game.
It just seems unfair that these clubs are shown several times more than premier League clubs but collectively make less money than any individual team.
Really can't believe I am arguing in favour of Leeds I've just been sick a little bit in my mouth.
