    Think I’ve fixed it (and hopefully the issue where no ads are showing for some users when they should be seeing some ads). Might take an hour for it to flush through the system but if people could keep me informed of the situation that would be great

    I'm not sure. C&B certainly had longevity before this and TCA has been going longer than this site with absolutely no contributions at all so it must at least be possible, if not preferable.

    TCA has 12 active posters
    C&B called It a day... Probably sick of putting his hand in his pocket to fund it

    I've posted before the costs to setup and host / maintain this site and its not to be sniffed at when I'm just an average bloke... And we're upgrading to XF2 which isnt cheap either

    For a quid a month It eases the burden ... If more supported the forum we probably wouldn't need adverts at all

    I know your fishing but just pointing out to the other members out there

    In fairness, you've no idea why Ed decided to close the forum.

    I'm also not fishing, it was advice to help the less regular user navigate the forum as with contributing it's simply unusable, as was posted in the other thread.

    Perhaps this will help with attracting new users in the future who then go on to contribute?
