Of course the fitness of the players he inherited is important but IMO there are far more important questions that need asking and replying too, Alexander been here since the beginning of November if they had been lacking in fitness that should have been addressed as the most important thing to rectify going forward surely.

What RCB signed and commented on isn't going to the fans forum but directly to Rupp in a completely separate action instigated by Steve and the ISG. Rupp cannot swerve out of ignoring the messages etc.

There is fitness and fitness required to play the high press. Morais talked about it post match I think this squad isn’t up to doing that over 90 minutes

 

Yes I signed up and sent the link to many Bradford City fans who don't post on forums but I believe will sign because as with us they do care about our club going forwards.
I get the need to get Rupp involve and maybe sending him emails and the like will get some response but I would have prefered him live (at any time convenient to himself) rather than a written reply, but once again should we expect anything different from an owner who takes over 2 weeks to welcome the most important man to the club in Graham Alexander, even the busiest of people in this day and age could make a 5 minute call and that for me shows exactly what Stefan Rupp thinks with regards Bradford City Football Club and its fans.

 

We really shouldn't take too much of what Philip Morais says about Bradford City as the gospel truth, I usually listen on my way home from games and he does make some valid points, but please don't make the assumption that players who have had a pre-season and many played 30 or so games aren't match fit and cant play the high press, if merely playing high press guaranteed results every club would play it, we see the best players in the world employing that system in the Premier League and get found out.

We will have to disagree then because clubs who play the high press are fitter than average and we certainly aren’t

 

Weren't we playing high press and playing out from the back under Mark Hughes at the start of the season, have they all of a sudden lost the fitness they had under Hughes And the teams that play high press are usually the teams that have multimillionaire playing for them the likes of Man City, Liverpool etc top quality players.

Which would you consider the more important measure of success?

1. Financial, where the business balances the books or even makes a profit

OR

2. Bradford City advances up the leagues?

Context: Bradford City AFC is 37 places lower in the leagues than when you took over.

 

Hughes said when he first arrived that he didn’t like working them to hard preferred ball work.

 

Didn’t John Dewhirst go to see Rupp in Germany to tell him what Edin was doing to the club? Couldn’t you get John on board?

 

So did they play high press or not, preferring ball work has nothing to do with high press, when a team is high pressing its because they don't have the ball and high pressing in hope of forcing the opposition into making mistakes ?.

Yes John did go as he communicated after the event. This cleared the path for me to take the proof and a few days later ER was gone. John is a good guy and I don’t speak for him but suspect he may not feel this serves a purpose, bit like me but get hold of him and ask.

 

Isn't the purpose right now to galvanise Rupp and address the leaderlessness at the club, or do we need another five years of Sparks not learning from his pretty obvious mistakes before trying to make him address the black hole of knowledge and expertise at the top end of the club?
