    Almost every time I reload a page (within the last half hour) I get this pop up. I cancel it and it goes away without having to sign in

    Statcounter is an analytics service that I was using because they provided a daily email with all the data analytics data presented in a nice, easy-to-read format. They decided to pull a fast one though, they decided to cripple the free service and ask for $25 a month to keep what used to be free and decided that they wouldn't send a warning email about it, rather waiting for you to login and confirm if you wanted to move down to the new free package or upgrade to the new lower paid package that used to be free and until you did that it would break the code on the website.

    Anyway I've removed it as it's not worth $25 and the free version is so cut down its not any use for this site
