Realistically sensing a Win tomorrow - City 2 - 1 Shrews.

Depending upon results ........ Could be quite a few teams with a 31 pts tally tomorrow night.

We must win to drag Shrews into this relegation battle.

Shrews win then that's 6 points clear of us with a game in hand.

 

Right that is what we will do then! DH has now discovered the player cupboard and will unhook a couple of top class strikers, a really fast winger and a attacking midfielder all ready to go, so no problem!

If he was happy he wouldn’t be seeking to bring players in. It is balancing act; trying to not disrupt the team’s confidence and ensuring you have the right players in. I think our search for players has disrupted the team. You can say to players not to be distracted but it does because they are not robots.

 

They drew with Wolves but it will feel like a defeat given they let the lead slip. I think we have a slight psychological edge given we fought back to nick a point at Burton.

We have the players to win tomorrow, it all depends on how much the players want it, particularly the midfielders, as we were overrun in there by Southend last time at home.

An early goal to settle the nerves and give the lads belief, please.

I hope we don't feel the need to let Shrewsbury score first,just to test our theory that we don't now lose every time the opposition Score first.

I would rather hope Shrewsbury are still thinking about how close they were to knocking out a premier team in the cup.

We should win. Simple as that. We have the ability in the team to win these games against the bottom half teams, especially at home. Just got to make sure we don’t have any Southend style performance as we can’t afford many more of those otherwise we’ll be seriously doomed.

My first home game since a disastrous double-header against Sunderland and Oldham last October. I hope my jinx has gone.

Think we have had harder games on paper than the shrews. Walsall and Stanley come to mind. Few points about those games

From the past ten games blackpool have only scored 6 (same as shrews funnily enough) we have scored 17 in that time. Both seem to be defensive sides.

Stoke are a very stange team at the moment seem to be having an upheaval with nathan jones so seemed likely

Port vale are in leauge two and are 19th, even we should be winning that game!

Sunderland seems to be drawing games all the time, hell we should have drawn with them both games in the league so doesnt seem like a big ask (i do think sunderland are overated this season)

Yes even though wolves are a prem team they started the match with *9* changes and as soon as he put on his key players they knocked them past the shrews. Wolves will win at home me thinks.

So yeah i think we will be fine!
