    A mate of my brother had a few games for our reserves around 1990. Pretty sure he had a game at Anfield.

    True enough. Whatever their qualities -- and some have had good careers with other teams -- they made it into a first-team match and our records, whilst we have remained in the stands, no names, just numbers in the attendance figures.

    Magnus Pehrssen was part of the cavalry as Richmond stated that arrived in the 96-97 season played about 60 minutes against Oldham I think lost 3-0 the disappeared as quick as he arrived.

    How about the likes of Darren treacy, Darren Morgan, Wes Reid and the likes of Steve gardner, Paul west so for those complaining about the current lack of quality then step back a good few seasons and realise how bad we had it

    Was he the one who got us thrown out of the cup then after not being registered to play against them.

    Out of the others mentioned, jordan graham did ok, still on wolves books and currently playing for ipswich.

    Id also like make a point for Oliver burke admittedly he did make 2 appearances but one was about 15 mins at Coventry and im fairly sure the other wasnt much longer.. Parky took him on loan but obviously didnt fancy him. 12 months later he moves to the bundesliga for over £10m

    Some names have just popped into my head but I'm too lazy to put the research in to see how short their City careers were. Laurens Ten Heuvel, Carlos Logan and Spencer Weir-Daley :sick: Outstanding quality.

    True; he might well end up with a good career. Another player loaned in whom, it seems, Parkinson didn't really fancy. There were a few of those, weren't there; players who were brought in to, seemingly, just fill out the numbers rather than really play a part on the pitch.

    Five, four, and five league appearances respectively -- established veterans compared to those on my list! But, they were all loanees, back in the days when loan rules were different.
