    OK - I think we can all put the Guiseley and York episodes behind us now ?
    They were always going to be a team of 22 type matches. Just a shame we didn't have the Farsley game, as I think SU is one game too early.

    But still - what should or can we expect tomorrow ? I'm expecting little, but hoping for much more.

    Tic-a Tak-a tight triangles, one on one touch in groups on the training pitch is one thing - But games require all these to be orchestrated into one glorious harmony !

    I hope we see a decent squad, tomorrow - with both some direction and energy. It is now only 3 weeks away from the big KO .......... and after tomorrow, some more non league 'stuff'.
    Oh do come on !! I want and demand better than this.

    Sheffield United should have been game six (from seven, at least) ........ not three, IMO ! :(
    WHAT will Collins learn from tomorrow ........... City are ill prepared and were no competition for a top Championship side ? I hope not.

    We have allready had six months of embarrassment from the hierarchy. A tonking from Sheffield won’t make any difference.

    Absolutely.

    Whilst this is a fitness building exercise for all concerned, we need to be building partnerships, understanding and confidence at this stage.

    I've a feeling we will go into our first match of the season with players who have never played, or had minimal time, together competitively. It will be very interesting to see if Charlie Wyke starts.

    Me an t’other half are going, being treated to a box no less. Tbh not expecting a win although that would be nice, but I want to see our new team display their skills, and be competitive.

    Strong line up for at least 60 minutes would be good. To try and get an idea of the planned team/tactics for the season ahead.

    A bit more attacking intent and a win would be good to see but really all we need is a solid display and another 90 minutes of game time under the belt.

    Hopefully a more fruitful exercise than Newcastle at home last season, where (for some bizarre reason) we went defensive and for damage limitation only for Stuart to say afterwards he’d never play that formation again!

    Speaking to my Blades mate last night - Wilder will indeed have the 'Senior squad' prepared and travelling. The good news for us is that many will be on the Bench, so about 6 Subs in the second half. ;)
    Like City, S Utd want to step up their preparations.

    Sunderland rumoured to be closing in on both Wyke and Eisa in 1.6 million double deal. Yes Eisa scored more goals last season but at a lower level and his contract runs until June 2019 also so why is Wyke value so much lower ?
