Sheff Wednesday "fan power" backfiring?

    I didn't write the article or even agree with it-just highlighting what is going on at that club. And what can happen if protesting goes too far.

    As for our club-well there are a lot on here who are openly against Rupp so you would assume that they have already made representation directly to him. As for mass protesting -we had the flyover that wasn't and cannot think of anything else. Can you?

    There is a line between being annoyed at the way the club is being run and making unwarranted (criminal?) representation to people who are not directly involved.

    This is the risk fans take when they are happy to be financially reliant on the owner but fans think it won't be them who has the finances pulled so they are happy to go along with it until it is them. It is only going to get more and more common now with so many clubs bascially insolvent. If I was a Sheffield Wednesday fan relegation would be the least of my worries as they could easily get into situations like Derby and Wigan and not be able to pay wages then get points deductions or worse end up in administration.
    It's an issue that football needs to sort soon as before long a club will go under and it won't be a club like Bury or Macclesfield who will be forgotten about
