Alternatively, had a taste of "the high life" and backs himself to get a better position elsewhere. I like his self confidence. Good luck to him in his future and grateful for the work him and MT did turning us around.

 

Spot on. We did it nearly 30 years ago, upped sticks from Bradford and we wouldn’t be where we are today, if we had remained . The rest as they say …..is history.

 

I’ll give you that USG, but Basil and his team were and still are, the best comedy series ever. As you say the others run it very very close.

 

If anyone wants an illustration of why Bradford is on its arse as a city it's the backward mentality shown in some of the comments in here and elsewhere about Sellars.

How awful for someone to back themselves to move their career forward and not just meekly accept an offer which would be a backward step.

Agree, I have the boxed set, but it’s always on Sky, and even though I know what’s coming I still can’t avoid laughing.

Sellers has shown ambition by ditching the club that treated him like shit... City offered him a contract then a few months later sacked him and try demote him, would you stay ?

 

Nonsense your logic makes no sense that he was treated like shit, I don’t blame him for leaving but every club hires and fires players and managers so by that logic they all treat people like shit. He was given an opportunity and his bosses felt he wasn’t up to the job long term happens everywhere in every business. It only took 10 minutes to realise Bruenker wasn’t up to the job, so a few months is more than enough time to judge. Good luck to the lad but he was offered further employment after being sacked and to have his qualifications paid for, that’s fair by the club.
