Should I have automatically got physical season ticket cards for the kids as they did last season?

I’ve got digital cards for them in my Bradford City app, but there may be the odd occasion when I can’t go so they would need cards.

Kids cards came by default last year.

Last seasons cards are valid to use. If you have lost or discarded them, you will need to pay for new ones

    On the City Website Q&A

‘If you purchased a physical season card for the 2022/23 season and renew your ticket for the 2023/24 season, you will be able to use the same card for entry into the University of Bradford Stadium, and DO NOT need to purchase a new card for £5 when renewing your ticket’. https://www.bradfordcityafc.com/SeasonTickets/frequently-asked-questions/

Looks like you will need new plastic ones @ £5 each.

Figures show an interesting demographic. Seniors and juniors are over half the amount of the 24-65 Adult section. Also the amount of customers lost and new ones gained, quite a swing in terms of customer retention and new sales. All in all a great effort again from the Bradford public financing their own football club.

And full marks to the club for the pricing structure which allows for such numbers. It’s the way football should be

Interesting to note there are only 670 of the original 1,000 twenty five yearers left.

What works for us won't work for others. Its the old supply and demand, we price primarily to get the best revenue for the club, the cheap tickets are a byproduct of this policy. After all we are a business first and foremost and not a charity. What the figures show is that fans still purchased even when the price went up from £149 so its not all about affordability and being cheap.

Hardly bleeding it dry are we. We get a £50 discount. That's £33,500 off the season ticket income. I estimate that's about 3 months wage for Ash Taylor. Now you tell me which one is the biggest drain on resources ?

There is absolutely no doubt we get the numbers we do because of the price. At a time where fans are protesting at clubs because of what they have to pay it’s refreshing. I fully realise not all clubs in this league have the capacity to do it. But where there is the capacity in makes sense from the moral and financial point of view

We never dropped the prices for a moral reason, we did it because our 'product' wasn't worth the asking fee. Like with any product if folk ain't buying you have to take drastic measures. Items in a sale are there for a reason. Do you think we'd have made football 'affordable' if we'd have been selling over 10,000 season tickets at full price? And to be fair for the shite served up watching league 2 football £200 should be the price.

Exactly. And the reason we shouldn't go full price because if we did the demand would drop far too much. The product we sell is like the cheap shite that is on Temu.
