Only managed to get to one game so far this season (it's a 250 mile round trip and my daughter plays football on Saturdays - but will be at the Leyton Orient game with me for her first game) and renewed my ST yesterday. Renewing is an expensive way to watch City at home for me over match day tickets but can't resist each season...

My 8 year old niece attended her first ever game yesterday with her parents, who have never shown a single iota of interest in football in the 23 years I’ve know them. All 3 are buying season tickets today. They didn’t realise we got that many fans, and thought the atmosphere was better than they could have ever imagined in that second half

 

Fordy. I don't know your age, but as someone that has stood on the old kop , with a few others a dog and crumbling concrete,
i can assure you that i take great pride in our fan base , not only the numbers we now get, but the passion for the club, a lot bourne from that dreadful day in 1985, one i will never forget.
we had over 3000 away yesterday, more than most teams in this league actually get, or have ever got.
We could have taken more if the tickets were available.
You may not be interested, but most are.
It is one thing the people of Bradford can be proud of, cheap tickets or not.

A great effort to beat last years total considering we aren’t world beaters and puts to bed the notion that it’s shit or bust every year for another year, I’m sure the same argument that season ticket sales will fall of a cliff next year will come up again by October if we aren’t walking the league.

 

People will find something to moan about in everything. But affordable football is the best thing this football club has ever done and deserves credit for it. This video is another example of how much our marketing department has developed into a very effective department

 

North West Premier league side Macclesfield have increased their season ticket prices from £180 to £299 for next season.

Astonishing to think we could be seeing league 1 football in a far better stadium for £100 less.

Given the rocketing energy prices the club has faced, you have got to say hats off to Rupp and Sparks for keeping our prices below £200

 

Nonsense. We sold 18000 season tickets in 2015-16.

 

Which bit of, 'the more season tickets we sell (at any given price point) the more money there is to spend on the team' don't you understand?

 

Less than £200 for a season ticket and many freebies given to schools etc and you don't believe the club are investing in the community.

 

Almost 14,000 sold - 48 hours remaining - 2,000 still yet to renew.

Usually shift around 1,000 on the final day.

 

What a bargain especially if we go up

Very good, only a thousand off last year and another week once the seats open up at the early bird prices. I’d be shocked if we don’t comfortably beat this season’s total.

I wouldn’t normally announce it on here but today I know it will annoy a certain person that we are employing a “small club mindset” and discussing the amount of tickets we have sold.

 

So if you pay rent rather than own a house, you are nothing and not worthy to be included in society? I am not sure you mean half of this rubbish you put on here.

I was unable to move my daughters ticket near to me, but I wonder if the club could set up, (or supporters club) set up, a swap shop where you could say where you are, and where you'd like to sit. Supporters could then arrange to swap by contacting the club. It could be limited to one swap per season. There must be hundreds of fans sat separately who could move closer to each other.

 

I call it child abuse, you have just ordained that they will now have a life of time of misery and ecstasy in not so equal amounts
