    You could buy a programme with their names and pictures in it and keep it open on your lap during the game.

    Well you could wait until the full squad has been brought in-hopefully before the Donny game and buy a programme then? The programme will contain full squad photos so hopefully you can easily identify players by their face and shirt number combined.

    I realised today that all the pre and early season social media activity helps me with recognising all the new faces (I don't get to games as I'm overseas). Of course it means that no sooner do I recognise them, than they bugger off elsewhere.
    Spent the day watching those 'back-to-school' videos thinking 'Who the hell is that?' And reading far too much into random facial expressions than is healthy for anyone.

    You should take said programme to the following home game in time for when the players arrive at the stadium. Then you can introduce yourself to each one so that they introduce themselves to you and sign your programme. That way you can put a name to a face and a face to a name.

    An email has been sent to everyone with a printable season ticket on it so if you've not ordered a physical ticket you can print off the email as a back up.
