    A reward for a patient support base, who have endured 4 years of this poor league and poor leadership despite great ST sales.

    The Associate directors pay a damn site more than £200 i believe and yes they enjoy the boardroom but do lots of unpaid work for the privilege.

    Of course everyone has the right to voice there opinion with regards any thread they are replying to, again @wetherbywhaler@wetherbywhaler carry's no more clout than any other member of the forum, and as he has said he is no longer on the board so your " you may inadvertently be driving further fraction between the board and support base" is not the case.
    We all he want success for our club and I and many others have pointed out at times that certain posters only seem to want to knock the club, again it can be said they have a right, but at times it does get a little tedious, but hay its a football forum if we don't like what we read then there is an alternative.

    Ah the wonderful marketing campaign that was effectively selling champagne and the customers ended up with Lemonade. I agree with you Dave, it's about time people realise it's the fantastic fan base of this club that should be rewarded for consistently backing a flogged horse every season. That award should be given to the supporters, for it is them who keep this club going. Or maybe I should just 'own the moment' lol?

    Regarding last years and this year's "strapline". "Take me home" really does connect with the fan base (much as I personally can't stand the song). "Own the moment " is just another throwaway generic buzz phrase. In my opinion

    I've supported this club for too long to get optimistic Park. I have faith in Hughes based on what he's done elsewhere but this is league 2. Hopeful more than optimistic I guess.
