Seems to be a lot of renewing going on - sales might exceed my earlier expectation of around 7-8k

wouldn’t you just do the 6 households as three transactions? So each one would just be 2 households ?

I think a lot will renew with no intention of actually going, certainly not while there are so many restrictions in place.I think the ifollow pass was the clincher for many.

I said same as you, wouldnt it be great to get 10,000+ what we have to take into consideration is this forum only reflects a small amount of Bradford City season ticket holders.

I would expect a bubble of two households being bought by someone not in them might not be allowed, but I don't know that since the system wouldn't let me in. I got my tickets sorted face to face but the issue of accessing the website was only a few hours old at the time and I got no suggestions. It's now a few days I've been locked out. .Access will either resolve itself in time or I will have to contact them. I don't see the point of hassling them just now while they are busy with the season ticket sales.

yes I suppose you are right about the forum, but even the last number I saw it looks like there will be a bigger uptake than I expected. I bet even @Fordy117@Fordy117 has bought one on the quiet. Sshhhhh!

If it is over 10,000 ST's then that is a massive achievement, when you add in the McBurnie windfall then this club should be in good shape for this season.
When you factor in you won't get to all the games and possibly the season gets curtailed too.
Some clubs are going to struggle.
Next seasons funding could well be awkward.

Yes, it will be for some clubs but probably not us to begin with. Most have already been given some of this season's solidarity and TV rights payments to tide them over last season's problems. Some also took out loans from the EFL using the rest of the solidarity and TV payments as collateral which have to be repaid before the end of the year. Imo it's going to get really tight for some clubs in the near future. If the EFL doesn't come up with the £250m loan they are wanting the PL to provide, life will be getting tougher. And to date as far as I know, all they've had back from the request to the PL for a loan is silence.

Nor me! And it's a bit of a Mexican stand-off with Sky and BT at the moment on 3pm TV rights

The other party to this is the Govt. They allowed Project Restart to go ahead to conclude last season's outstanding PL and to allow this season's games to start on condition that the football industry got its act together to ensure the football pyramid stayed intact. The Govt didn't want any lower league clubs to go the wall in their 'red wall' seats and didn't want to provide Govt funds to protect the clubs! In practice this was interpreted that the PL itself or the PL clubs together provided a few hundred millions in loans to safeguard lower league clubs. And it still hasn't happened.

I personally think that help would have been more forthcoming if the Championship clubs had gone for a salary cap

I agree with that but several of the 'bigger' Championship clubs who have wealthy owners won't vote for it. There are still discussions going on apparently but it's being quietly nudged into the long grass with little if any chance of it being implemented this season.

Can well and truly kicked down the road.
I could see help being given to L1 & L2 clubs though, but on a case by case basis, with complete transparency.
I think I've previously quoted a PL co-chairman "Of course we could help out more, but I'll be buggered if I'll wipe out some shyster's debt"

I am one of those techno-fobes, who called at the ticket office to re-new this morning.
    Only a handfull waiting.
The lad behind the counter said they had been selling between 600 and 700 per day. couldn't give an exact figure or wouldn't.
By the way i don't have grey hair and am a fair bit under 60.

Lol the act of using a telephone to actually make a call died out 10 years ago.
Kids of today actually fear the act of talking
