Finance wise you will never compete, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't do your damned hardest to give the manager as big a budget as you can. It still has to be affordable to a degree but then in life your always expected to pay more for a better product.

 

Exeter are not , Mansfield are certainly not with only 1200 sold. Bolton with 7000 is less than they expected. Only club to have done better is Port Vale with 4000

 

Just did a Google scan, 3431 sold down from 4k last season. At say 200 a pop average (incl juniors, early bird), less than 700k less vat.

Thanks - so the statement most top div 2 clubs are reporting strong sales doesnt seem to be the case. (OK maybe their expectations were low in the first place)

I mean, look to the other end of the spectrum.

Cambridge 613 sales as of 24.08. with only another 1000 on sale.

 

So 700 down from the previous season is not strong? They know their numbers were never going to dwarf least season? However we are currently 7k down?

 

Not being pedantic but it's 6.4k. And still 4 day of sales to go, so who knows where we will be come Sunday night.

And I'm still at a loss at the claim of 13800 season ticket sales last season. If so, why under 13k official attendance against Stevenage and Cheltenham?
I'm probably wrong but I feel that 13800 was a reflection of season tickets and flexi tickets.

 

I am fairly certain we announced in one of the fans forums we changed the way we count and announce the official attendance. Could be wrong

 

On the upside they'll all be watching their L2 game on the 12th

 

The club announce season ticket holders in the match day attendance wether they turn up or not. They do not however include flexi card holders if they don’t turn up at the game. Flexi holders are included in the season ticket sales but the club aren’t doing them this season so just season tickets in the total this season.

 

It begs the question n why clubs like Port Vale are charging basically double what we are paying.

Having a quick look they also sell 10 game passes which they expect roughly a 1000 to be sold and with quite a large stadium i think theybare hoping all supporters can be accommodated if they allow for 25% capacity.

 

I am a bit confused about the ifollow, how and when will we be able to start using this service. Completely new to me, so certainly will need some assistance, but haven't heard anything from the club of late

Club have just provided an update.

They will send you a code. Individually before every game to your email, but you must fill out the opt in form.

 

Not until league starts

 

And that will lead to complaints after first game when people haven’t had a code. Teach people to opt out of emails

 

They've provided a constant stream of reminders.

It's a bit annoying that it's a code for every match though.
