    so reading the agreement on the i follow match screening. The money raised from this ,goes directly to the individual club for what they sell in the championship. But in leagues one and two , goes into a pot to be shared between all the clubs, if i am reading it correctly. The smaller clubs , must be falling about with laughter, not only do we have a salary cap , reducing the spending power of clubs with greater turnover ,but they also get a piece of income from tv match sales.
    Are these new rules being written by the owners of Accrington, Morecambe etc.

    It's not fully confirmed as yet. So I will wait to comment.

    I've no interest in watching div 2 football on a bloody laptop. If Sky were to do a red button service then fine but watching Bradford City on a laptop sounds painful.

    You don't have to watch it on your laptop, you can connect it up to your TV. Honestly Fordy, 'red buttons' are so 2019.

    I'm always up early as I have things to do during the weekend as don't have time during the week due to work commitments don't worry about me.
    Like Petrov said you can actually get it on a TV now but I think you may be pushing it with your 14 " portable

    If only it was a joke.
    These new rules , won't improve the game. All the clubs in the bottom two divisions, will be dragged down to the same level. How can a business attract better staff to improve its stature, if it can only offer limited salaries , in line with its competitors and those smaller competotors, also take a share of your turnover.

    I am probably not up to speed Being an OAP with all the new technology, if someone can explain to me how to connect IFollow matches from my iPad to the tv that would be much appreciated

    I do exactly the same but then I don't use Apple products!

    And you can do exactly the same if you have a non-Apple Android tablet with an HDMI port

    Yes, he could. There are lots of answers to the general question of watching iFollow matches on your TV, dependent on what tech you've already got and what you are prepared to spend.

    Not to my knowledge unless it is an Apple TV or an Airplay compatible smart TV.

    Apple don't appear to make it easy to connect their products with non-Apple products without an intermediary adapter.

    Yes, Apple like to keep things in the 'family'. That said a lot of the latest smart TVs are Airplay compatible.

    I'm not a fan of Apple. That said, I do have an iPod. More weirdly, I have succeeded in connecting a windows PC to a non-Apple speaker via Airplay.

    So, it looks like a £150 season ticket will give you admission to 50% or so of home matches, plus iFollow coverage of home matches.

    One issue I hope City have covered is how to identify those who buy season tickets just for the iFollow access. Otherwise, there's a risk of allocating the limited number of Valley Parade seats to people who have no desire to attend.

    You're like me. I was still using my Ipod pre-lockdown when I was at the gym. But othe than that I have a real aversion to Apple because of their approach to other manufacturer's products and software.

    But interestingly, a friend of mine has also used Airplay to connect non-Apple devices. It's bizarre.
