I have gone option 2 but it will be just like City to lose when results also go in our favour. We just need to play on the front foot from the very first minute as absolutely nothing to lose

    I’m going for option 1
But we need to be winning at half time, that puts pressure on Crawley and Barrow

If you think about it, of the three, we are probably under least pressure. Well apart from the 16000 baying fans.

Bradford win on Saturday and thrash Doncaster at Wembley 4-0 in front of 38,000 City fans, open top parade round Bradford.
Closed season Rupp sells to a Kuwait billionaire and we all live happy ever after at the top of the premiership.
    Man City did it.

The club should sell as many seats as possible, any way possible for this fixture. Entice some fans back, and hook new ones in

Kids for a quid (up to 15 years old) and everyone else a fiver. Get the place rocking from the first minute

I'd even be crazy enough to release all empty seats for free

It is 5/1 odds for Bradford to win, Mansfield to win and Grimsby to either draw or win. Not massive odds.

An early goal is what is needed to cause doubt into the other's teams minds.

A draw isn't good enough for Barrow, it might be to stay ahead of us but it isn't to stay ahead of Crawley, so on that basis trying a low block and playing for a draw is out of the question for them, which can only go to help us.

I see Sky have chosen Colchester v Crewe as their televised game on Saturday. What an odd choice given the options.

Has a potential impact at both ends of the table, from a neutrals perspective it seems like the perfect choice?

This last match scenario reminds me of the occasion many years ago when in the Bradford End. Someone on the Kop heard a score from another match and the news spread through the old stand to us. We celebrated but the message was false so we trudged away from Valley Parade deflated.

The old uns among us will also never forget that midweek Workington match during the 60's.

All that can be certain is that we'll be down from Edinburgh on Saturday in the Kop and hoping Grimsby can beat the Creepies.

They both just need a draw to secure a playoff place/survival. Got 0-0 all over it.

It's different from '96 as we were already in the play-off spot and just needed to win to confirm it, Chesterfield(?) won as well on the day but we edged them out by a point.

I think we go 1-0 up early on and canter to a 6-0 win. Crawley lose and Barrow are 2-0 down at half-time, but fight back to score an injury time equaliser and edge us out on goal difference.

    Dream Scenario on Saturday.

    Bradford beat Newport.
    Mansfield beat Barrow.
    Grimsby avoid defeat at Crawley.
    Birmingham beat Huddersfield.

I think that is being a little greedy to expect it to happen, but that last result would be a very big cherry on top.

Memory playing tricks with me there, I thought Chesterfield losing gave us the play off place, but you are right. They won as well.

Thanks for your scenario, that's the very worst possible one I could think of, losing out by one goal !
