Saturday Match day routine

Sounds like your wife has the time of her life.

 

Well I am still in bed, lol going to get up in a min, nip down to butchers for yummy bacon. Make bacon and egg buttie, a Saturday treat. Bath, makeup and hair. Normally get tea ready for when we get in, but going out tonight. Do some domestics, feed my furry baby, and we usually get going about 1. Park up outside VP, listen to radio for a bit, wander down to VP. No food, just have a laugh with friends and family, into watch the match about 2:50. That is it normally some variations, go out for breakfast sometimes.

 

Can you expand on 'feed my furry baby'? My vivid imagination has gone into overload....

 

Mine has been the same for years ...........
Either work, or home chores in the morning. Arrive at VP around 2.30 and a pint to be had. At half time, a pie with sauce (Yeah - THAT video clip STILL has me howling with laughter and enjoyment ).
Working in Donny was awkward and disruptive. Finish at 12.30 .... quick shower and change, drive up to Bradford, arriving any time between 2.45 and 3.15 - So NO pint !!
Sunday is best - If we Win - The whole family get constant re-runs of how we did it. If we lose, then I just try to join in with the thoughts and conversations of others around me.

I get out of bed, see if I can move without extreme pain. If I'm ok it's off to town to put my bets on and then off to the match followed by a few pints back in town and then maybe a ruby.

If i'm crippled, like today, it's a day on the couch

Saturday match day. I have category A and B today is B game (not driving). 12:15 walk down to local two pints of Landlord. One and half pints 13:30 nominated driver picks me up. On time 14:05 park up Head to ground or Bar Italia. Straight to Bantams Bar 15:00 kick off . Down hill from hear After the game straight home prepare meal for Mrs Rocket while listening to John Kane Radio Leeds. Couple of gt and dance round kitchen if we have won. Microwave meal 20:00 fall asleep Still Awake Shite on TV 22:00 wake up watch EFl on Quest and think “What’s Going On” . Of course during the day check out Bantam Talk. Can’t watch horror shows Category A Meet Keighley Massive 12 noon Train to The City Edited 19:45

 

You have a very understanding wife my friend you need to look after her Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thurday and Friday Im sure you do .

Get up at the crack if dawn to try and keep our youngest 2 (aged 2 and 5) quiet while the Mrs has a lie in..

Head to the shops spend a fortune there, come home then take the oldest to his part time job, watch some sport on TV then pick up the boy from said job...

Put the youngest 2 to bed, watch more sport with the Mrs, send the eldest 2 to bed, then the boss lady, pay for the game on iFollow, get the snacks ready game starts at 11.30 pm, sit shaking my head and swearing at the TV for the next 90 minutes (last week I nearly cried)..

Go to bed at about 1:45am, stare at the ceiling as I'm that pisssed off after the game for the next hour... Wake up at 6;00am to deal with the young uns
