I can't remember who posted it, but somebody said that it was all "self inflicted", that's the saddest part for me. They have turned a good squad and a tight club into a garbage squad with a fragmented fan base, it's so utterly foolish. Can't see me going again this season, better stuff to do.

 

Well I went today and genuinely believed we could get a positive result, as well as Accrington were playing this season, someone in the pub said Kai gets a start, so you naturally think Hopkin saw him score on Tuesday night and seen his reaction in training so maybe its a positive move, boy was I wrong, don't get me wrong there were several others equality as poor, our two central defender were run ragged by a young rookie striker called Zanzala who looked a hand full every time he got the ball.
Once again the team took the easy option of whacking it forward for Kai but he really did nothing today, and on that I have to ask why it took Hopkin 60 minutes to sub him, I have said repeatedly I believed David Hopkin would turn us around, but once again on today showing there was a howling gale blowing down the pitch yet we played hoof ball, it was poor stuff and I am seriously believing we will be relegated, hear a rumour today Duggie freeman was being lined up, time will tell if that's true or not I'm not sure anyone can sort this mess of a season out.
Second half the fans behind the goal were chanting "Edin get out of our club" I have to say after today's showing it's going to take a miracle to turn us around.

 

I cant even offer you the excuse that this was our worst display of the season because very few have hit the giddy heights of "we deserved a draw" as someone posted with steadier finishing it could have been an embarrassing scoreline,

 

Dougie Freeman? Really?

 

It was garbage Bronco and to think I've been enjoying my footie till seeing my own team.

 

I also find it hard to believe but that was the rumour I heard, at the moment he is Sporting Director at Crystal Palace.
Not sure how he would achieve things that David Hopkin is trying to achieve, once again a real let down for the traveling fans.

 

The only way you would take him is as director of football

 

Im not a Bradford City fan but watched the game today on the telly on the ol' dodgy box.

Watched to see Payne and O'Brien who I thought both did okay.
Infact, I can't pick out anyone from Bradford who I thought looked poor or particularly good, would say your goalkeeper was MOTM.

But defensively you look really vulnerable. I watched you against Blackpool earlier in the season too and it was the same then. Accrington could have scored more if it weren't for your keeper.

Far too easy to beat at the moment and your players dont look to have anything about them in terms of character.

Someone on here mentioned your problems are self inflicted and I have to agree.

Our chairman is/was friends with yours as well as Grayson. At a Q and A last season someone asked how Grayson would do at Bradford. Our Chairman said a few words about Grayson being the best man to get a side promoted from league one and he would appoint him again, if Huddersfield ever found ourselves at that level again. He ended the question stating he had been told McCall was undermining the Club, despite no longer being employed.
Now do you think that was Rahic or Grayson who said that?

Considering Grayson walked 3/4 months later?
Your problem is your owners and unless he steps back and lets the new man do his job, you are in real risk of relegation.

 

I am reliably informed that Mr Freeman was sitting with the City Directors today !

 

Id be interested if you could elaborate on the line that McCall was undermining the club?

 

Why would he leave his job as Sporting Director at Palace though?

Presume Freedman was there as a mate of Hopkin seeing as no game for Palace today.
Either that or coming out of retirement to play up front for us!!.Even at 44 he woild be better than our Current strikeforce

 

My Accy pal said that they play 1st and 2nd now and that'll show how their season will pan out, not a shoe in win v Bradford City.
