This club is in no position to go up. Squad is average league 2 and needs major work even for this division. Hopefully Alexander and Gent are singing off the same hymn sheet next season, Hughes hung Gent out to dry with his change of formation.

very much like the mass hysteria when we had that recent bad run of results and some couldn't wait to sack him, football fans eh.

Spot on….I have lost it with Cook this season even for all his goals! The two goalscorers , Smith for them , and Cookie were woeful today.

I’m sure his luck will change but we need a different “ lump it to his head” perspective next season. As you say a sub/ back up to pace!

I was thinking earlier Oggy is the most improved player since his return.

You can’t score if you aren’t playing after a large operation, odd that one needed reminding ?

He wasn’t prone to injury ..that comment was debunked early in the season I believe?

If you say so. All I know is that we ended up with the same midfield as we did thd previous season and in my view it has cost us big time.
    1. Do we have more injuries or type of injuries that other Lg2 clubs?
    2. Have we completed as assessment of our facilities and treatment to minimise recovery time?
    3. Are we going to invest, because in my view these long serious injuries are costing us big time.

We haven't had a lot of injuries this season, just major ones to Pattison and Walker that have highlighted that we have a lack of quality but too much quantity.

This season is the same as last season, not enough goal threat from anyone else but Cook. We all know it. Bonkers if the football staff can't see it.

It would have been good if Smallwood could communicate what he is going to do with own fookin feet.

Pattison was wanted by a number of clubs including some in league 1 and won't have been cheap. We tried to Jonny Williams who was also wanted by a number of other clubs and that didn't happen as Gillingham decided to bid even more

Maybe not a lot of long term injuries, but a few injuries in defence at the same time left us playing Ridehalgh in a back 3, including the 4 loses on the trot.

An odd way to deflect. It wasn’t me who debunked it . Somebody posted his Harrogate stats but hey that won’t answer 1,2 or 3 nevertheless.

Pro footballers have better health care than all of us as they are all covered by health insurance. They don’t have to wait two years for appointments, they see the best practitioners instantly.

Are we saying in Q2 that these top class instant , no appointment , no waiting private facilities are second rate? Is that what is being suggested?

I had private cover at one stage before retiring for the entire family and to be fair it was absolutely top class . No different to professional footballers.

I see Wrexham secured promotion today, incredibly sad to see them fly past us into the leave above.

it just shows that the way this club has been run the last 8 years is nothing short of an utter disgrace. We’ve gone from league one playoff finalists to league two bottom half fodder. Absolutely humiliating and shameful.

I can’t wait to see who we release once this disaster of a season has come to an end. I can think of maybe 7 players that I would be happy to keep next season.

Don’t be fooled by the results from these last 4 games, they are only winning because they’ve already ruined the season and the pressure is off. They bottled it last year and did it again this year.

We should be demanding much much more next season! 13th in league 2 after 43 games that some of the paid employees at Bradford City are extremely poor.

Whilst I agree, let’s be honest they “purchased” promotion. Look at what agents fees tells us , what they paid for signing on fees, what they paid on player wages, they even paid transfer fees, unlike the pennies all other clubs bar Gills, Mansfield and Stockport who relied on “frees.”

I guess their player budget would be treble ours. Let’s applaud their promotion sure, let’s not escape the fact how and why it was achieved?

They probably did it without owner input or borrowings too?

I thought they were in debt? £5 million at 3%?

Yeh Pattison is just one of those unlucky injuries. Looked good earlier in season and plenty to prove next season. Him and Young will be like new signings if the latter stays.

Williams a major flop for Gills. Similar position to us. Wont make play offs and left it too late.

The thing that bugs me about it is how they are the media's darlings and it's all about them. Another team secured promotion yesterday but if you don't follow league 2 you wouldn't know about it. I just hope Stockport hold onto first because the fawning if Wrexham go up as champions will be unbearable.
