2/1 to City (Hutchins and McGinley, Martin Peters for Norwich), we spent about 88 mins of the game in our own half.

Morecambe must want to keep it quiet and I bet they will have told Sparks to keep quiet. So why is he liking that post, is he a bit of a div or something.

Remember it well. We were in the Norwich end (on their kop) as my dad would never go in away ends for some reason. The noise from the city end was immense.

From memory we were penned in their half for 89 minutes and 49 seconds !

    We don’t own our ground.

    We train at a school.

    Meanwhile at Tranmere.

This what you call off the pitch planning Sparks

When you don’t own things even things like what Tranmere are planning is impossible

And not one person in that futuristic video with a football shirt on.
Great planning by Tranmere and good look to them going forward giving fans a better matchday experience, but just where around Valley Parade would you put it, marquees on the car parking area at the back of the kop is one thing but I doubt they'd allow a permanent structure on there.

Doesn’t matter where. We couldn’t as we don’t own the ground.

Something the club will have to think long and hard about if they are genuinely thinking of moving this club on. Sparks has admitted himself that the club is in the dark ages on a lot of fronts and game day experience is one of them. And if its done half arsed then fans will not part with their money to use the facilities. The club have to get out of the thinking of 30 years ago. Football isn't the same game anymore and has moved on.

Does @Bronco@Bronco and the likes of @Park bantam@Park bantam understand this? It’s not a dig. It’s a question because for me, I think off the pitch helps on the pitch in 2021.

We are so far behind with off the pitch improvements it’s embarrassing

A quality match day experience is not just about what happens on the pitch, it's as much off it that is at least as important..
    if not more.

I don't disagree as with any other entertainment based industry the product should be the reason that we attend but football is diffrent IMO or why would we have the uptake on over the years with regards fan base.
Yes the season tickets are a big incentive but I don't believe they are the be all and end all as some suggest, the coming season will be a test, we don't know in what sort of capacity fans will be allowed back hopefully with the vaccine we can get every one back watching football maybe some after the last 12/14 months some have found other things to do.
It won't apply to the likes of you and me we'll be going to watch our team home and away and I believe that's the reason we can't put football or most sports into the same category.
The coming season will certainly be a test as above we will once again be buying a season ticket still in the dark with regards what the government will allow to attend, I don't think a £50 increase will be detrimental to most but will a family of 4 buy on the chance they may not see live football and an increase of £100+ for all 4 members of their family.

Once again a load off waffle from Mr Soundbite, it's a simple enough question where would we build a structure as is in the video, noting to do with us owning our ground, ask the lads who follow the likes of Darragh MacAnthony who is building a new ground at Peterborough, Peterborough Football Club will not own the ground they will rent it off Darragh MacAnthony and the others that paid for the build, just as Bradford City Football Club do.

Peterborough way is better than Bradford City’s. Darragh owns Peterborough.

As for where we would put something like what Tranmere as. I would say the players car park but as I say pointless thinking about it if you don’t own the ground.

Has your brain understood that we are not in 1950 yet and in 2021 off the pitch developments are highly important

Once again since Sparks came in for the first time the club is addressing it. Let’s wait and see what transpires this summer and beyond.
A good start is an improvement of-the abysmal catering with good value edible food and drink.

Once again engage your brain before making silly comments, the players park their cars behind the Kop end where many fans pay for parking their
cars on match days, so as the school own that tarmacadam area where would you build the fanszone.

When Geoff Richmond built the ground and the club shop with cafe he hoped especially with the cafe to be able to use it all week not once a fortnight part of the year. I used to supply that cafe and yes it was busy on match days but did nothing in between. Because quite simply the geographic area is not conducive. Many clubs get income from facilities used daily we are not in that position at VP
