I have never said the club cant/shouldn't increase ticket prices and said whatever it is Ill pay it BUT the situation we and ever other club find ourselves in it would be poor form to increase them next season IMO after the fans have back the club this season.
As a few have said they have family members who bought tickets yet they all watch Ifollow together, that to me is commitment, they could have just bought the one ticket and all still watched it together.
With regards my take on what we could get with regards fans if we put tickets up it is only a guess and that figure could increase or decrease with what fans thought was acceptable for 4th division football.
The pricing of seating was done in the past during Richmonds time I believe where the product on show was far superior to the product on show today, for me that scenario could be looked at in the future in a higher division but not at the present moment.

You yawn away but if you think that prices are not going to increase for things over the next 12 months then you do a foolish yawn.

Bradford City is not a charity. Rhodes was a useless CEO and hopefully Ryan will have more common sense.

£50.00 a ticket is fair or $25.00 and increase to £60.00 for prime areas like other clubs do.

Based on 13,000 season tickets sold and the increase in revenue would certainly have an impact.

The club would have more than likely have made a loss.

I would be looking to put them up to around £200 with the view of getting to around £250 the season after.

Fordy, We are all agreed on the price needing to increase, we are discussing the amount. If my memory is correct, cheap ticket introduction immediately increased our base from 8000 to 12000. It carried on rising to 15000 and even above. Importantly, most of those stuck even in the bad times, hence a base for the future had been built. Let's carry on building that base with the affordability the incentive brings. No, Bradford is no worse off than any other struggling northern city, but most of the others are not in a position to be able to make the offers that we have been able to. Live football is atmospheric. The bigger the crowd, the better the atmosphere. I think to increase the price to over £200 in one increase would be a mistake.

Forget £250, that ain't happening even in two years. In real terms that would be a mark up of around 75% in two years(excuse my poor maths). There isn't a busjness out there that could operate effectively doing that. £200 is what I'm feeling from the general concensus of here and other areas.

8,000 to 10,000 at £250 is more income than 13,000 at £150. And works better in post Covid restricted attendance times.

They could have bought just one, but unless they live together they shouldn't be in each others houses watching it together should they ? We all support our team, and we all hoped to get to matches at some point this season so buying individual ones made sense and doesn't risk you losing your seat the season after.

That's accepting there will be 8/10,000 prepared to pay £250 for 4th division football.

And what about the affect on shirt sales catering sponsorship and programme sales any price increases should only allow for inflation we need more people in for the size of stadium

The ones I've spoken with are father and son so no problem.
You were always guarented your seat even if you didn't purchase a ticket for season 2020/21, that was stated by the club.

To be honest I am not fuss about the fan base.

At a guess I would say we have 8k loyal fans. So we need them now to understand that things won't be on the cheap. Time to pay up. Had it cheap for far too long and its go us nowhere. Then we build from that and have to highlight a vision on and off the pitch for people to buy into to increase the fan base naturally.

As for the bigger the crowds the bigger the atmosphere well no crowd this season and I doubt a full house will be allowed next season. It's a perfect time to increase prices as many fans would understand and pay it.
