    Anything can happen at the end of a season just as at the end of a race. Those out in front feel themselves to have the most to lose and fear a Devon Loch in the final strait. It creates pressure which at present we don’t have.

    You are about the only one who has City losing a home game, which to be honest they are due, being a bookie? you know the odds.
    City are also due an away win and if McCall bolsters the midfield that can happen as well.
    Just not on a regular basis if Clayton is getting the main chances.
    So i'd say you are closer than most with the predictions.

    The thinking in my mind, is not odds related but Crewe are a good team, I believe our season will be all but over by then and that the ooc may not give two hoots, whilst some others may be all ready on the beach, metaphorically.

    Are Crewe better than Port Vale or Forest Green whom have beaten us at home? Plus I think some of our fans get beyond themselves forgetting the bloody obvious, that we are not overly good....

    Much prefer the Vale match than games against the likes of Forest Green and Salford. A proper shithole with nutty fans against two money backed sides.

    Forest green are terrible at the minute. They were also terrible when they beat us at valley parade when they were 'in form'. I'm not surprised they have stopped winning and was only a matter of time. Forest green away is very winnable, and a game we should be winning if we want a top 7 spot. Likewise today.

    We have an element of control over the remainder of the season in that we have so many games against teams above or around us, that we can take points and gain on many of them.

    To stand any chance, we need a good 3-4 players to really step up, mainly in CM and CD. I think in O’Donnell, Novak and Donaldson there is quality and personality to impact those around them however they need more support. Reeves, BRE and AOC need to seriously step up both performances and influence on others. Unfortunately given this hasn’t really happened all season there is no indication as to why this will change now, but we can always hope. Fortunately we now have a manager with a leader and winner mentality, lets see if it can rub off on the players.

    Today is as big a game for result as it is mindset. Get the hoodoo off our back, then you never know what can happen.....
