My God, have the club run this by the Bradford City AFC Horticultural Society?

They didn't vote for grass over players just to see some rugger buggers ruin everything!

Players like Wright and Riley only perform on bowling green-esque pitches.

 

I’d welcome the extra revenue and televised publicity, if all goes well we could be moved up the pecking order for hosting further events too, so let’s make sure we’re great hosts.. if selected of course!

It's 1 game not a season if it can't withstand 80 minutes the ground staff might aswell pack up now.

 

It’s 3 matches, both semis and the women’s final.

 

3 matches in the off season shouldn’t do any major harm to the pitch.

I’m getting all pedantic but the off season is when all the work is done on the pitch. However unless we plan to have a passing style keeping it on the ground I think we would value the extra revenue over a slightly rough pitch

 

Posh seemed to get mentioned a lot on here but very simiar..... Darragh openly said on Twitter they won't play at home at all this pre season because the grounds being rented out for music events. Not great for the pitch but revenue wise it was a no brainer.

 

The rugby games would have been played at the end of July, our off season work would be completed by then

 

It’s a rugby ball, so I’m not sure it will be ‘rolling’

 

Rugby league these days is a summer sport played by athletes who would do no more damage to the playing surface than a City player making a serious tackle.

 

It would be rather good to host this event and would bring some extra revenue to the club.

With the Woman’s game prior.
All of the teams would bring a good following and fill the bars.
Unfortunately for some no Bulls ,following there defeat against Halifax yesterday.
