Cant see England doing anything with possibly the weakest squad in years TBH

I think interest in RL is at an all time low , Saints winning the grand final against a Leeds team that was dire until Smith rocked up pretty much says it all

Salary cap hasnt helped but theres no real stars in the British game anymore , And a string of second rate aussies that are stand outs shows how far the game has fallen behind the ARL

Really struggling to be bothered with the world cup this year

King Karl your probably correct with your comments regarding RL poor turnout at Headingley yesterday .Chatting in the Skyrack with old skool fans was more enjoyable.

Tonga v Papua New Guinea, beyond a handful of seats at £25 (a few hundred) prices are £25 to stand and £40+ to sitdown, with £70 no concessions for the middle 3 blocks of the main stand. The ground will look empty of the TV for this game. No one in their right mind is paying £70 for a group fixture.

    Who priced this up?

New Zealand v Jamaica on what will be a one sided group game, £55 behind the sticks. I mean that's just ridiculous.

Correct (kind of). It was 11k in 2013 the last time we had the WC, not last year. But yeah, not a good stat and the organisers need to amend the pricing ASAP. I was hoping to get to England's knockout games and possibly the Aus v NZ semi at Elland Road but if they're charging £50+ they can forget it.
