I enjoyed watching him play last year. At times he made defending look effortless. Not the finished article by any stretch but he should have a good career ahead of him. Be interesting to see if he stays in central defence, I could see him playing in midfield with the right coaching.

 

Absolutely, his main defensive deficiencies are all based around height. Another 4 to 6 inch added to his heading ability could see him become a classy defender well up the leagues.

Clearly that’s not going to happen so midfield may be his future “go to “?

 

I see he has signed for Dagenham and Redbridge. Were City asleep? Surely he is good enough to play for us?

If only we'd known he was available in June, July and August.

 

He was available for transfer. Problem probably was he will have been on decent wages down there and we will not have been wanting to match them

 

He was also available for loan according to McAnthony.

 

I know that. Obviously not now but he must have been available in the summer.

 

He was but 30 bob and a packet of crisps wasn't enough of a contribution towards his wages

Peterborough obviously thought they could get more elsewhere but looks like they were wrong as can not see them getting as much now so they would have been better off accepting our offer.

 

Critchlow lost his man for the Yeovil winner at the weekend on his debut.

Interesting to see if any City fans write the question into their podcast and asked about Critchlow. DMAC said we offered to pay 30% of his wages earlier in the window and they wanted more, wonder what Dagenham are paying? Looking at their squad, I wouldn't be surprised if they beat our offer. They have some lads who could still do more than a decent job in L2, looks like they are spending a bit this season to try challenge.

 

They've had a bit of a cash boost this season, whu wsl renewed the stadium hire for a further 5 years

 

That will be spread over the five years though wont it? Rather than a massive boost or do you think they have increased the amount they are paying?

 

It was front end loaded, with a smaller rent. They also have their own training facilities which whu will help them develop and where the women will train.

 

You're probably paying more for Dagenham's ground then you are for your own!
