Maybe I'm getting an old fart but I just didn't understand the OTT celebrations when Lillis dropped the ball at Charlies feet and he scored, if it had been the winner fair enough but it was an equiliser, you'd have though we battered them and didn't think we'd score when the opposite was true.
Another poor poor display, the first half we just lumped it forward for Charlie or Kai to get on the end of, no football on a pitch like that no excuses today a great playing surface and we bye passed the chance to show what we could do on a good playing surface.
Loads of wotk required by our next manager no matter who it might be.

I guess it was so unexpected, plus it came just after that "tackle" on Stephen Warnock.

On an afternoon when a few rousing choruses of 'A town full of paedos' was looking to be the highlight for a number of fans, a goal was worth going a bit daft about.

Yes it looked like that challege put a bit of fight into them, especially Warnock who crossed the ball, it could have been a straight red, it nearly brought Warnocks career to an early end.

I think it meant a lot to the players because of the sheer number of losses they've endured.

They'll have known they hadn't played particularly well, and a loss at a struggling side almost wrecks the good work of the last two home games.

To stay undefeated for three league games in a row, on the back of the atrocious form we've all had to put up with, is actually reasonable.

Of course it is. And with three home matches coming up it’s a great chance to finish as high as possible

Sorry @JonButterfield@JonButterfield these are the same players who haven't given a f##k for either their then coach/manager who they help get him the sack, they threw the towel in for whatever reason, and have been anything but professional with their attitude, performances, willingness to try and give a f##k for us fans accumulating in that shocking display at Blackpool.
A total lack of effort whilst drawing a wage and wearing the Claret & Amber shirt is totaly unacceptable, they are league one players for a reason but lack of effort has nothing to do with it give your all and mosf fans are happy with that.

I agree with what you say. But certainly in the last few home games they have started to put that right

100% spot on, the time to put things right was 10 weeks ago, when results mattered.

Reading the posts on here, it would finally seem that for the majority of our first team, this is becoming a long, drawn out and painful swan song.A season that started with optimism and expectancy in abundance, has crumbled into a bizarre and almost embarrassingly farcical ending of complete and woeful underachievement. Sadly. Really hope that next season brings a new dawn and the Club reward the faithful with an enlightening pre-season full of renewed hope and commitment to the cause.

Sitting in the warm sunshine yesterday watching yet another ninety plus minutes pass bye your above thoughts crossed my mind on more than one occasion of late including yesterday.
The trials and tribulations at our club this season have without doubt been the worse I've seen and heard in many a year.
Four games to go but any lingering matchday optermism left my body coming out of Spotland after the final whistle.
I will be there to wave goodbye at Scunny but don't expect anything more than what we have witnessed home and away this season. The players bags are well and truly packed and have been for some time.
I echo many others Clear the Decks.

We are all angry and disappointed at the way the season has been effected by that abysmal run. But I'm with @JonButterfield@JonButterfield, they are still human and look to be working hard to gain some respect back. For me, the Portsmouth performance was the best at home all season and the players will have been gutted to have backed that up with a loss. The late goal, fortunate or not, was another small step back in the right direction.

Whilst they are the same players who looked completely without cause since January, a sizeable chunk of them are contracted for next season so its good to see them finding their drive again.

If they had sorted themselves out after the Yeovil debarcle we could have still been in a play off position, did it need us fans to give them a wake up call at Blackpool to make them see they were short changing not merely the owners, football management team , us fans, but their own reputations as pro footballers.
Of course they are humans. so are the fans who paid good money to watch their team take the piss. that to me is totaly unaceptable, over the years we have had some poor players/teams but they gave their all and that is the least I expect Bradford City players to do, not a lot to ask when most fans work 40+ a week to fund there pleasure of watching our team.
So sorry it's a disagree from me :(.

Can't disagree with much you have said there. I think Grayson had a point about the disruption with the weather because we are clearly experiencing the "bounce" that we all wanted to happen months ago but its too late.

Yes the run has cost us this season. But you have to bear in mind that shoots of progress have to be maintained rather than trampled on. Parky's first season was equally abysmal. Players like Duke, Davies, Reid, Hanson & Wells featured regularly. You don't need me to tell you what happened the following season. In the infamous "one win in 20 or so" run back in League One - Darby, Davies, McArdle, Meredith, Hanson all featured regularly and went on to achieve great things with the club.

The point being that some of these players are likely to feature regularly for the club next season. If they felt that they needed to vent their own frustrations with that last minute equaliser then I think they have that right. Admittedly, I'd have preferred to see them grab to ball and try to win the game. But I think we need to be looking out for the players that want to give their all over these final few games because some of them have and, crucially, want a future with the club.

We shouldn't blindly condemn everything the club does, either

Reading some of the miserable comments of the last few days, you'd think we were where our next opponents are or it was April 2007 or 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 12

I'm fine with criticisms. The club have been clumsy with communication, but that doesn't mean everything they do is always wrong

Mark and Julian, frequently used so called 'desperation' marketing as shown by their occasional £1 (or whatever it was) matches and everyone praised them
