    I remember standing in the Bradford End one evening towards the end of a mediocre season in the 60s. As the game ended 'The sun ain't gonna shine anymore' was played over the PA system. Looking towards the kop I saw that the sun was indeed setting over Valley Parade. It seemed we had little to look forward to but a couple of seasons later we won promotion on a memorable night in Darlington. So, bleak as things seem at the moment, we can at least hope that one day the sun will shine on us again.

    Back in 1965 Walker Brothers appeared at Victoria Hall Keighley estimated 7,000 fans turned up. That season 1965/66 City finished 23rd in division 4 Re-elected :eek2:
