Too gung ho for me. All the right physical attributes but up top hes a bit loose for me. Reminds me of a poor mans modern day Pickford.
Look at Colin Doyle, had the height but looked heavy and cumbersome but mentally was relaxed and on his game.
We need that behind a defence that needs someone to look up to not constantly doubting and having a go at like POC did again when OD didn't in his opinion come off his line quick enough.

I like Hornby but would have stuck with ROD tonight, If we are keeping him for next season he should play, Maybe playing him to decide if we offer him a deal for next season

 

He's gonna organise the defence and command the box, guaranteed clean sheet.

 

Lets hope so or it will be pelters for him from some, It is about performance not personalities

 

No need for hope with Hornby in goal.

He's the absolute best, I've read about how he's a master organiser and dominates the box.

What's to worry about?

 

Wonder if ROD has thrown a strop given the constructive and not so constructive feedback on his recent performances, and just to scupper my prediction that Hornby would never play for City again!

Its simple, He was not to blame for the two goals but could have done better attempting to save them, He did not make an obvious mistake so unlucky to be dropped,
There was a lot more wrong with the team on Saturday than dropping ROD
