Not the most inspiring of missives from Mr Rhodes I would have thought that with more than half the teams in this league struggling, this season was an excellent chance at promotion again I think we have missed the boat. Can anyone imagine Mr Baldwin or Mr Jenkins being interviewed for the job by a man who hasn't had a 100th the success they have had
Surprised he picked today of all days to speak out would have thought he would have been too busy paying someone to take our "dead wood"

I’ve got a feeling our new CEO could be Ryan Sparks, he seems a great lad but it would be a massive job for someone like him to do on his own. Mason had Lawn and Rhodes working at the club during his time as did Baldwin, so if they did throw Ryan Sparks in the deep end it would be tough for him, not to mention the meltdown on here and other social media if he was to be announced.

The problem is the wages spaffed on wholly unsuitable players through bad recruitment. Last season the wages spent on Anderson, Akpan, Taylor, Devine and Ismail, who contributed almost zero between them, would have been better spent on the backroom or one quality player. This season DMH already looks a pointless signing. On the other hand the rest of signings, with good coaching and clear instructions aren’t that bad.
Even the best clubs get recruitment wrong, but City seem particularly bad. -

Sometimes functioning at a level beyond your real resources leaves you at risk. Personal direct experience as above tells me so. Aspirations are one thing, but beware of Something which can ultimately be totally unattainable, if you over extend yourself. -

It's all well and good attacking fans who think ambition = throw money at it which isn't what anyone I've seen has been saying at all. I would rather employ a scout than have signed chris taylor for example.
