Yes, Edin might have messed a plan up but I didn't see anything while he was there that Rupp planned to take the club forward and I don't see any plan now either.
We don't have a player recruitment plan hence getting Evans and McCall doesn't even know where he recently has been playing. Counting on McCall's ipad isn't great is it?
Look, it is too late to go spending wildly now. I fully understand that in these uncertain times and the positive is Ryan forming partnerships with other businesses to improve certain things but the point remains that it seems like Rupp had no plan to start with when buying this club and without investment improvements its costing him a small fortune anyway.Stop hovering to collapse... Yes, of course Rupp and Edin paid the amount that was agreed to own the club but all we heard from Rhodes and Lawn was that Rupp and Edin can take the club forward and that's why it was sold to them. That hasn't been the case has it?
Rupp and Edin have done nothing Rhodes and Lawn couldn't.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -

You could argue his way of running the ship gets us nowhere. Either way his time is done here and we need fresh vision now.Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand... -
You only need to look at how Liverpool turned itself around.

The beach at Cambois is lovely and Sandy bay caravan park is just up the road, yet the local population are absolute headbangers. Not the sort of place to leave your car too long -

As regards BC being his biggest investment or economic commitment I doubt that that was/is the case. The fact that SR was not familiar with football allowed ER all the more flexibility to tell his lies, because as we all know 'he knew football'. Part of ER's version of events was that the English way was inferior and that SMcC was being obstructive to ER's vision etc. It doesn't take much imagination to work out what would have been said to SR. Another point to bear in mind is that German businessmen think long-term and having made his commitment, SR was unlikely to change course at short notice and hence stood by ER. -
