Really? Hendrie has been excellent since he came back.

 

so some fans on here are taking it as gospel , how ROD was released according to his wife on twitter.
Yet he seems to have no issues.
Is it the knock the club at any cost brigade.
The way some of the players have performed , they are lucky that they have not been dragged out of the city by a baying mob of fans.

 

Here’s what was put on Twitter by him Kev, to be fair he doesn’t say what his wife said isn’t true just that he doesn’t have a problem with it and there are good people at the club. I’m sure we’ve all had family who’ve got upset on our behalf with how we were treated and we’ve taken it as water off a ducks back I know I have. He’s probably more focused on finding new employment rather than a Twitter spat and who can blame him? Best of luck to him for the future anyway, always have his all even if not always good enough:

 

How many rash decisions did he make compared to Bass that directly cost us goals?

 

How many absolute clangers did Bass drop that ROD wouldn’t? Bass was no upgrade on either ROD or Hornby.

I’m optimistic about next season. We’re starting to see the impact Hughes will have and the style of play we will be playing, and it’s all positive.

thats 13 players and the base of a very good side at this level. Add to that another 7 of a similar quality and I would be very happy.

Hope we keep Sutton for next year, He has more to offer and has a great engine on him and drives us forward and much better than Gillead in midfield, Not had much chance under Hughes so suspect he will be released but will be a loss next season

 

I heard that Walker had a kebab last night so he's definitely going to Turkey for his holidays then will sign for FGR as he held three fingers behind his back on the 27th minute of the game to represent the three letters

 

Picked up an interesting stat from radio Leeds after the game, Callum Cooke has made 112 appearances apparently and in that time has 6 goals and 15 assists, people bemoan Gillead's lack of productivity but Cooke's is just as bad.

If losing Cooke meant keeping vernham or Walker then I wouldn't be losing much sleep personally

 

He’s deteriorated as he doesn’t fit in the Hughes system!
He will go and I subsequently won’t miss his wide arms and hands on hips because someone can’t reach HIS lousy pass!

 

If Watt moves can we claim compensation

 

We need quality and players that can make a difference.

Yes, he can run away but his skillet set, quality on the ball is very low.

 

Id keep Sutton, Watt, Vernam and now quite possibly Paudie. Was never a fan of a few but 1 or 2 look different players under Hughes. Think all 4 can have a place in a 20 man squad as long as we bring in some quality. Rather focus on addung than replacing.

Hendrie and Cooke can go for me. As can the truly awful Robinson and Lavery.

 

Songo'o has grown on me, big heart, something Adams said about him. Last week at Sutton there was a good moment at the end where he held up the ball by the corner flag, went down well with us travelling fans.

 

He has me too, yes he's far from a great footballer but as you say his heart is there and gives his all, and who knows with better standard of player around him he may be useful as he keeps it simple and concentrates on what he's good at. Being able to play couple different positions could also be invaluable next season. On another note I do think if he wasn't signed by DA he wouldn't get half as much flack on here.

 

I don’t believe he’s good enough for a side chasing promotion. The only thing he offers is energy. It’s an attribute that is easily replaceable with somebody with more footballing ability. All about opinions of course.

Not sure am bothered if Watt leaves, He has work rate and energy and a good vision but his ball control and passing is dreadful, A lot of opposition attacks start with a misplaced pass by Watt who gives possession away to easily
