What ever MH decides is fine by me. If they all went I would not worry though thats unlikely. What is clear is we need 6-8 proper recruits. From there actions as they left the field during and after the game I'm not expecting to see Vernam, Walker, or Cooke in a City shirt next season ?.

Watt is by far the best player in that side, always available for a pass, his vision is far above his team mates, granted, his passes arnt always successful but we need to be building a team around him. He would quite easily be comfortable in the championship

 

Why not? We can loan him again and retain him as a part of our squad, the same with bass. Bit of a weird comment, but I’m pretty sure you knew what I meant.

 

Because the ones I listed are good enough to get us promoted and play in a division higher in my opinion.

Agree. Sutton adds loads of energy to midfield but technically seemed weaker than most of our midfield. With that energy I could see him as a wing back but think his crossing would not be enough of a threat / accurate enough. I thought he was a right back at Scunny too.

I thought Gilleard was MOTM today but most of his notable work was shielding / defensive

 

I hope we are going to be quite ruthless with the players we offer new deals to, because fannying around waiting for them to make their minds up could be the difference between us landing our first choice replacements (if they decide not to sign), or missing out and being left with 2nd, 3rd or 4th choice again.

No not really. I completely agree with your sentiments, I’d have him in a heartbeat. I was pointing out you can’t put a player on a “retained list” when he’s under contract with another club.

Didn’t Staunton turn down a loan move last season? Maybe the new guy can find him a team that works for both parties. FCD will find a loan and needs to because he isn’t good enough for what we need.
