    A bit of Christmas cheer for everybody! Today Rahic has resigned as a Director of the three City companies. Great news!

    One final step to go. All we are now waiting for is the sale of his shares in the German Holdco. Then we can truly say his involvement with our club is over. :)

    No he doesn't. All that comment means is that he is the sole director and thus exercises all of the voting rights on behalf of the owner(s).

    Alan has previously been the company aecretary at the club for many years

    Great news, for sure @Dennis@Dennis .

    I'm not sure - But was it the 'Sporting Life' who wrote a piece yesterday, in which it claimed 'Stefan Rupp is the sole owner' ? If so, then purely for his (Edins) UK involvement ?

    This is indeed fantastic news! The speed with which Rahic has been purged from our club is breathtaking and Rupp has to be commended for his decisive actions over the last few weeks.

    I really expected our struggle to be an attritional one against both Rahic and Rupp with no obvious end in sight. As it turns out, Rupp appears to be on our side of the argument and as he has almost all the power, he is a good ally to have.

    I was fully supportive of both Rahic and Rupp when they took over only to be let down badly by the former. I am obviously fully behind everything that Rupp has done recently and I have high hopes that my faith in him will not be misplaced.

    This is truly the Christmas present we have all been hoping for.

    After so many backwards steps under Rahic, this finally feels like some progress. If we can avoid the drop it'll feel like we got out of jail.

    No ill will towards the man personally, he was just completely out of his depth.

    I'm with you @Flying Duck@Flying Duck I was one of the more critical posters with regards Edin, and didn't understand why only he could see most decisions he made were not in the best interests of our club,.
    Yet he was so wrapped up in himself he could not see it or take advice from others who offered it.
    What is really annoying is where we could have been with him and Stefan onboard providing the finance.
    Edin sorting the non-football side of things out, food, drink, hospitality, merchandising, sponsorship ETC and left Phil Parkinson to gef on with the football side, they may have both been joint chairmen of a Championshipclub by now, but I'll take @Dennis@Dennis's good news.
