Reserve/Development squad

    Just been looking on the club website and under the section for the above it has the Central League fixtures for this season. I cannot see any sign of City being listed. Does anyone know what is happening re above this season?

    The City website is still saying that the development/reserve squad will play their 2018/19 fixtures in the Central league.

    But as you say, we don't feature anywhere in the EFL's fixture list for the Central league

    That's bizarre.

    It appears to me (unless the EFL have made a gigantic cockup or the schedule is incomplete) that we have quietly dropped the development squad from playing competitive games. Thanks to the club for keeping everybody informed if that's the case.

    Aren't the reserves and development squad two different things? The Central League is for reserves, which we have played in some years but not every year? The development squad play arranged games as and when, rules are more relaxed about who can play, number of subs etc

    Have you bothered to click on the link and seen how it is described on the club website? To save you the bother, the webpage is entitled 'Reserve Team/Development Squad' and says that the Reserve/Development Squad will play its fixtures in the Central League

    No, otherwise I wouldn't have said it, but as you have acknowledged that they are not playing in the Central League then maybe the website isn't right?
